Stars in the Dark (2025) Book

"Stars in the Dark" is a project created entirely by Mossy—from set design and styling to lighting and post-production. This photobook delves into themes of texture and physicality within fashion imagery, utilizing analogue techniques and hands-on manipulation to animate each photograph.

For this project, Mossy physically printed out photographs to edit and reshape them manually, drawing inspiration from traditional processes to craft something both personal and distinctive. The work is filled with nuanced details that reflect Mossy’s vision and identity—whether through the wardrobe choices of the models or the star-studded backdrops that set the mood.

The title "Stars in the Dark" not only captures the visual atmosphere of the series but also encapsulates its deeper meaning, serving as a testament to Mossy’s creative process and his commitment to making fashion imagery deeply personal and unique.
